Our plant is located in Yuen Long Industrial Estate which is a stone throw away from the strategic border of Mainland China and Container Terminal. With this privileged geographical location, our products could be delivered or shipped to anywhere in this region or worldwide in shortest time as possible.

Our Company is committed to take every possible measure to safeguard the safety, health and environment aspects during the manufacturing process. The design of our plant has incorporated the most advanced recovery technology which ensures zero gaseous, liquid & solid wastes emission or pollution.

Hong Kong Petrochemical Co. Ltd. Corporate office and manufacturing site covered some 40,000 square meters and located in Yuen Long Industrial Estate, Yuen Long, N.T., Hong Kong. By using the technology of mass polymerization process, we produce general purpose polystyrene (GPPS), High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) and specialty HIPS with a capacity of 140,000 metric tons per annum. The flexibility of our production plant allows us to produce broad polystyrene grades to suit different market segments and requirements.

We also own and operate a highly advanced laboratory dedicated to product quality control, new product development and most important to provide technical support and services to our customers. With these valuable supports, our customers can be at ease to continue using our products today, tomorrow and many years to come.

Hong Kong Petrochemical Co. Ltd. has its own jetty and storage facilities located in Lok On Pai, Tuen Mun, N.T. Hong Kong. Major raw materials such as styrene monomer and white mineral oil are shipped to this location by chemical tankers for primary storage. These raw materials will then be transported by tanker trailer to the production plant in Yuen Long Industrial Estate for further processing.

This jetty is able to receive cargo from vessels sizing up to 6000 ton DWT with LOA 122m (max.) and draft 8m (max). Due to the restrictions imposed by the Marine Department of Hong Kong SAR, vessels are only allowed to berth to or leave berth from Lok On Pai jetty during day time (i.e. after sunrise and before sunset of each day).
